Do Soul Mates Exist, or Can We Choose?

One common belief of a “soul mate” is that if you do not marry the “one” for you, then you will not be happy.

Does God have “one” specific person for you to marry, or do you get to choose the person that you marry with your free will?

   I don’t think god has just one specific person for you. I believe He gave us biblical guidelines to follow, and therefore we get to choose someone based off of those guidelines.

   God gives us conscience, accordingly it seems we have to choose the person that best matching us
