The bottom line in that God wants us to read our Bible because it is our instruction manual. In St. John 16: 13 we read "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come". The Holy Spirit not only leads us and guides us into all truth, he also interprets the meaning of the scriptures to us. God wants us to understand what he means by the words he says, but remember since the Holy Spirit reveals the meaning of scriptures to us, those not filled with the Holy Spirit, will not be able to comprehend it. God created adam and eve, and the earth and all that. well from what i understand he created without evil. everything was suppose to be without evil or sin. well my number one question then is the serpent. the serpent was evil right, who created the serpent??? and why??? also during the reading of samuel, many times i hear the evil spirit from the Lord. The Lord has evil spirits. i thought He was a good Lord.
